From 2019 JEE Main will be held twice a year in the month of January and April.
JEE Main 2019 registrations for April session have started on February 8 and the last date for the students to apply before March 7 2019.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting JEE Main 2019 April test in online mode (PC based mode) from April 7 to 20.
Both the papers of JEE Main test Paper 1 for BTech and Paper 2 for BArch – will be held in two shifts from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Morning Shift) and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (Evening Shift).
Note: Applications will be rejected in case of filling online applications multiple times
Eligibility Criteria JEE Main 2019
Candidates who have passed Class XII or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018 or those who will be appearing in Class XII or any other equivalent examination in 2019 will be eligible to appear in JEE Main 2019.
Those candidates who have passed Class XII or any other equivalent examination in 2016 or before and those who will appear in 2020 or later will not be eligible to appear in JEE Main 2019.
Candidates who have appeared for their Class XII in 2016, failed in 2016 but have appeared again in 2017 and passed are not eligible for JEE Main 2019.
Important Things to Carry on Exam Day
The test takers will be provided a Pencil and a Sheet for any rough work they do. However, candidates are advised to carry a Pen or a Pencil for the test.
Admit Card: This is a mandatory document without which candidates will not be allowed take JEE Main 2019. Candidates will have to carry printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA’s website.
Photo: Candidates are also requested to carry one passport size photograph to the test centre. This should the same as uploaded on the JEE Main online application form. The photograph needs to be pasted on a specific space in the attendance sheet at your examination hall.
Photo ID: Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) too is required. This can be your PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card.
